The General Manager will spearhead Octalas Group’s Irish operations, ensuring strategic execution across business development, regulatory alignment, partner management, and operational performance. This leadership role requires someone who can think broadly, act decisively, and deliver consistent commercial results while maintaining the highest standards of governance and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all Octalas Group operations within Ireland
  • Lead commercial expansion, client acquisition, and revenue growth initiatives
  • Build and manage relationships with regulators, banking partners, and service providers
  • Ensure full compliance with Irish and EU financial and operational regulations
  • Implement group-wide strategic goals and operational frameworks
  • Supervise local teams, drive performance, and develop a strong organisational culture
  • Provide regular reporting to the Executive Team and Group CEO
  • Manage risk, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure service continuity
  • Support rollout of Octalas Bass, Octalas Pay, and related group services in Ireland
  • Act as the senior representative of the company in Ireland for all commercial and corporate matters

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field

  • Experience: 5–10 years in a senior leadership or general management role

  • Industry Background: Exposure to financial services, fintech, payments, banking, or technology operations preferred

  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership and decision-making ability

    • Commercial and strategic planning capability

    • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills

    • High understanding of compliance, operational workflows, and business governance

    • Ability to manage teams, build structure, and drive performance

    • Problem-solving mindset with strong organisational skills

Salary

$100,000 - $150,000 Per Year
